Generally, the recommended starting dose is 200 mg per day, given as 100 mg twice daily. But the sustained-release form of this tablet increases the availability of Bupropion for the expected time interval and cannot be administered for more than one in a day. If there is a need for administration of a dose above 300mg than per day, it may be accomplished using the 75- or 100-mg tablets.
